Rosewyn remembers.
On Saturday (06/04/2024), a group of Veterans gathered Rosewyn to remember the crew of the Lancaster ME685 which was lost 80 years ago to the day.
The parade was held at the same time as families of the crew were unveiling a commemorative plaque in Toulouse, France where the aircraft was lost.
Many of the Veterans had family who served as aircrew in Bomber Command.
The remembrance parade at Rosewyn coincided with one happening in Toulouse, France.
