Local Pubs

We have a number of local pubs in the area and they are all different!  The village pub is convenient as it is within walking distance (1 mile) but take a torch if you are walking back after dark!

Three pubs nearby…

  • The Pheasant Inn

The Pheasant Inn at St Newlyn East is situated in the centre of one of the nicest villages in the area. Good food and a selection of beers make this an excellent pub to visit at any time of the year.

  • The Blue Anchor

The Blue Anchor is an historic pub being one o the stops where horses were changed in 1805 by Lt Lapenotiere as he delivered the news of the success at Trafalgar to London. Nowadays the Blue Anchor is part of the 'Trafalgar Way'. Good food, real ales and a great summer location make this pub worth a visit.

  • The Plume of Feathers

The Plume of Feathers; a family-owned 16th-century dining pub, where rural charm meets modern chic. Sample the finest produce Cornwall has to offer. Located in the village of Mitchell (the next exit on the A30 westbound), it is a welcome break to a good walk through the countryside from Rosewyn.
