National Cream Tea Day 2024.

Hello and happy Friday!

Today marks the 10th national cream tea day. The Cream Tea Society was founded in 2015 by Rodda’s Cornish Clotted Cream and Wilkin and Sons Tiptree, and they celebrate national cream tea day on the last Friday of June every year. So if you wanted a reason to enjoy an afternoon cream tea, here is is!

Not only is today about enjoying a jam and cream scone, washed down with a cup of tea, there will also be a number of fundraisers held today, and since 2015, £1.4 million has been raised for various charities across the UK. Find out more about The National Cream Tea Society here.

Now, here is the very important question. Do you eat it the Devon way with cream then jam, or the Cornish way (aka, the correct way), with the jam first?
