Restaurants
Here we have our personal preferences for a night out in this part of Cornwall, but there are a number of others further afield, and don't forget the three local pubs also do good food.. Eat on!!
Our favourite restaurants.

Kathmandu Palace
I have been eating at this restaurant for around 20 years. They consistently serve the best of Nepalese food which is fabulous. Nepalese food, whilst it is 'curry' is not as hot as the Indian restaurants, particularly those from north India so you get the best flavours of the spices.
My personal favourite is a chilli paneer and tarka dhall. Being Anglo-Indian myself and a reasonably accomplished chef I struggle to emulate the subtle flavours that the Nepalese chefs produce. When you go there tell them that Colin sent you!

Mannings
Mannings bar and restaurant is attached to the Royal Hotel, but it is a great place for an evening out. The bar has a fantastic array of cocktails and a qualified mixologist, whilst the restaurant boasts the finest local food and a wonderful environment. The staff are always pleasant and helpful.

Silks
Looking for a place to go for an extra special night out, it has to be Silks. End of!
