Local Pubs

We have a number of local pubs in the area and they are all different!  The village pub is convenient as it is within walking distance (1 mile) but take a torch if you are walking back after dark!

Our top three pubs nearby.

  • The Pheasant

The Pheasant Inn at St Newlyn East is situated in the centre of one of the nicest villages in the area. Good food and a selection of beers make this an excellent pub to visit at any time of the year.

  • The Tartan Fox

The Tartan Fox is a restaurant and pub nested in the Cornish countryside. The building is 400 years old and sits in a 30 acre country estate. The food they offer is described as classic British pub food but with a luxurious twist. They have a sustainable approach to their menu and used local produce in their dishes. As it is not that far from Rosewyn, it could be possibly walked as well, especially during warm sunny evenings.

  • The Plume of Feathers

The Plume of Feathers; a family-owned 16th-century dining pub, where rural charm meets modern chic. Sample the finest produce Cornwall has to offer. Located in the village of Mitchell (the next exit on the A30 westbound), it is a welcome break to a good walk through the countryside from Rosewyn.
