Remember, remember…
We are now a few days into November and Guy Fawkes Night events have been taking place all over the UK as we approach the 5th. As tomorrow is actually Guy Fawkes Night, thousands of people all over the country will be wrapping up and gathering around a bonfire, waiting for a fantastic display of colourful fireworks to light up the cold November evening. Cornwall is no exception to this, with many organised events happening in the country.
We have made up this list of some great events that are taking place tomorrow.
Bonfire Night at the Plume of Feathers, Mitchell - Join the Plume of Feathers for the annual bonfire night celebration. Gates open at 5pm, with the firework display expression to start between 6pm and 6:30pm. Tickets will be sold at the gate, £5 per adult, and children are free. There will be musical entertainment, and food and drinks available to purchase on site.
Bonfire Night at Priory Park Football Field, Bodmin - Another display that happens on a yearly basis. Gates open at 5pm, with the bonfire being lit from 7pm, followed by fireworks at 7:15pm/7:30pm. There will be food and drinks available to purchase on site. Tickets can be purchased from a few shops around the town (£5 for adults and £3 for children olden than 5), or can be paid for at the gate (£6 for adults and £4 for children old than 5).
St Trudy Bonfire and Firework display at St Trudy Playing Fields, Bodmin - Gates will open at 5pm, with the bonfire being lit from 6:30pm and the firework display happening at 7pm. There will a few food stalls onsite, with food and drinks available to purchase. This annual event is free, but there will be a bucket available for any donations to be made.
Bonfire Night at Seaview Farm, St Teath - Gates will be open from 5:30pm, with the bonfire and firework display taking place at 7pm. There will be food and drinks available to buy on site, and musical entertainment happening after the firework display in the farm shop. Tickets are available online, it is £10 per adult and free for children.
Falmouth fireworks at Falmouth Cricket Club, Falmouth - Gates will open from 6pm and the firework display expecting to start at 7pm. There will be a bonfire and food stalls onsite. Tickets can be bought at the gate (cash only), it is £5 for adults and £2.50 for children.
Guy Fawkes Night at Tremorvah Playing Field, Truro - The annual event hosted in the city starts at 5pm, with the bonfire being lit from 6:30pm, and the firework display taking place from 7pm. There will be live entertainment and refreshments available to purchase. There will be an entry fee of £3 per adult, and £1 per child. Please note, this is a cash only event.
Firework night at Wendron Cricket Club, Helston - Gates will open at 5:30pm, with the fire display exerting to start at 7pm. Tickets will be sold at the gate, and it will be £5 per adult and £1 per child. There will be food and drink available to purchase, and a bonfire lit on site throughout the evening.
We understand that Guy Fawkes Night is a staple event in the UK event calendar but please be mindful of your community around you. There are many vulnerable people and animals around who can become fearful of fireworks, so please celebrate responsibly.
