We have had one bee-sy weekend!

Over the weekend, we welcomed some buzzing new residents to Rosewyn! Our new inhabitants have settled into their new home nicely, and we couldn't be more excited!

To celebrate, here are a few facts about bees:
🌼 A single bee can visit up to 5,000 flowers in a single day!
🍽 Bees are responsible for pollinating around 1/3 of the world’s food supply.
🐝 There are over 20,000 different species of bees around the world!
🌍 Bees are found on every continent except Antarctica!
👑 A queen bee can lay up to 2,000 eggs per day during peak season.
🕺 Bees communicate with each other by performing the "waggle dance" to share the location of food sources.
🧭 Bees can fly up to 15 miles per hour and have excellent navigation skills.
🍯 It takes about 12 bees their entire lifetime to make just one teaspoon of honey!
💧 Bees can drink nectar directly from flowers, or they can collect it in their "honey stomach" to take back to the hive.

We’re so grateful for these hardworking little creatures and can’t wait to see them thrive here.

The Rosewyn bees are enjoying life in the Cornish countryside.
