Christmas on the Cornish South Coast.

Hello all. Hope you are all having a great December so far!

As the Christmas spirit has fully started here in Cornwall (despite Storm Darragh being on it’s way), we thought we would share some amazing events that are happening all over the county during December. From light shows to craft markets, there is so much going on to spread some festive cheer.

First up, we are heading to the South Coast of Cornwall. The Shipwreck Treasure Museum in Charlestown will be hosting their popular Tunnel of Lights attraction for the very last time. Described as ‘the most festive place in Cornwall’, the museum will be turned into a magnificent winter wonderland and will be open to explore from tonight (06/12/2024) until the 31/12/2024. The immersive experience will be packed with festive joy and many activities for all ages. Father Christmas will also be making a visit during certain dates (6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd). There will also be plenty of Christmas themed sweet treats and drinks to enjoy, including Glögg, which is a traditional Scandinavian spiced drink.

Tickets are available from their website and as this is a very popular part of festivities in Cornwall it is highly recommended to grab yours sooner rather than later! Book your tickets here.

We hope you all have a great weekend, and stay safe!
